Propagating corals in my tank, and the glue vs. tie method argument is fierce.

Hey @troy_palmer76, I read that some glues can REALLY irritate corals over time. One article mentioned it could mess with their ability to feed PROPERLY. Still, everyone's tank is different!

My smart home felt chaotic until I changed one setting

Yeah the waving your arms thing is so real, happened to me too. It completely ruins a quiet moment like watching a movie. I found motion sensors are perfect for hallways or the bathroom, but for a living room you need a really long delay setting. Otherwise you're sitting there trying not to move, which is silly. Getting the settings right takes some trial and error for sure.

Fridge forage night sparked a debate over what counts as 'edible art'.

Oh man, we had a 'clean out the pantry' night last week that turned into a food circus. My youngest called a can of beans 'mystery meat' and insisted on building a tower with crackers (it collapsed into the ketchup, of course). My wife tried to make a sauce from leftover pickle juice and mayo, which we all agreed tasted like regret. Those nights are better than any planned dinner, honestly, because everyone's too busy laughing to care about the weird mixes. I swear, the more random the ingredients, the more creative the kids get with their presentations.

Can we address the moral fog of using public park outlets for power tool charging?

You've perfectly captured that modern dilemma. I've been in similar spots where convenience clashes with public resource etiquette, and it always leaves me uneasy. The electricity cost is trivial, but the principle of using shared amenities for personal projects feels like a boundary test. Your tree fascination act is something I'd probably do too, overthinking the ethics while pretending nonchalance. In the end, maybe we're just navigating spaces that weren't designed for our battery powered lives. That guilt, though, shows you're conscientious, which counts for something.
