Question about a laser level scare at our street gathering

I took my laser level to a block party to help with setup. A neighbor saw the red beam and thought I was checking his fence line for code violations. Do you think construction tech gadgets often cause confusion in social settings?

Stumbled upon a lakeside diner thanks to a fellow camper

Yeah @holly_bennett60, I tried to watch that whole true crime doc in one weekend. By Sunday I was just zoning out, and two months later I can't even tell you the guy's name. It's like my brain hit a wall. Felt the same way when I ate an entire birthday cake once, just a blur of sugar and regret lol.
