Question about a laser level scare at our street gathering

I took my laser level to a block party to help with setup. A neighbor saw the red beam and thought I was checking his fence line for code violations. Do you think construction tech gadgets often cause confusion in social settings?

Wait, it dive bombed a cotton candy stand? That's wild. Did it just get covered in pink sugar and stick to everything? I can't even picture the mess, like a giant sticky dragon stuck in a tree. How do you even start cleaning that up?

@aaron150 your drone comment reminds me of this kite festival I went to last year. Some guy brought a giant dragon kite that needed like six people to hold it. A huge gust of wind just yanked it, the line snapped, and it went full chaos mode. It dive bombed a cotton candy stand before getting tangled in a tree. Took them an hour to get it down.
