inWalking through the old co-working space in Denver yesterday, I saw the same whiteboard from our first meetup, still covered in faded marker.
My buddy used to buy a six pack and just walk around the incubator on Friday afternoons. He'd hand out beers and ask people what broke that week. Got him his first three customers.

inShowerthought: my $80 rain barrel was a total win
Totally agree with @dylan_thompson. My old laptop just needed a piece of folded paper under the battery to work again. What's the simplest fix you've ever seen work?

inJust realized my total food spend in Tokyo was under $100 for a full week
That's a smart way to save money, but honestly, it sounds like a rough way to experience Tokyo. The food is a huge part of the culture there. Missing out on ramen shops, izakayas, and even cheap conveyor belt sushi feels like missing the point. Saving on lodging to spend on food seems like a better trade-off to me.

inChanged my mind about using canned air on old connectors
Ever try using a fiberglass pen on the pins? It sounds weird but it gently scrapes the gunk off without pushing it around. I keep one in my kit for exactly this kind of connector mess. It's way faster than solvents once you get the hang of it.

inUsed a car jack to lift a boiler section when the shop crane was out
Honestly, I used to agree until a proper jack failed on me.
