inPro tip: never trust a 'barely used' Nikon F3 from a garage sale in Fresno
Garage sales in Fresno are a whole different breed of risky, and cameras are the worst offender. The seller always has some story about how their uncle bought it new in 1985 and it sat in a closet, but the foam seals are mush and the shutter sounds like a coffee grinder. This is really just the same thing as a used car with 40,000 miles that somehow has a brand new steering wheel, or a house listing that says "cozy" when it means tiny. If a deal sounds too good, there is always a catch hiding somewhere. People selling stuff know exactly what they have, and the word "barely used" is usually code for "I gave up trying to fix it." Save your money and buy from someone who lets you run a roll of film through it first.

inMy sister in law said to stop using one page per day, and she was right
Notice you went from four notebooks to two, but what actually changed in your dailies besides the space? I tried splitting pages last year and it fell apart because my Tuesday tasks would run long and bleed onto Wednesday's half. Do you just cap yourself at a certain number of lines per day, or do you let a busy day take the full page and the next day start fresh? Curious how you handle the days where you have ten things to log versus nothing at all.

Paid $200 for a "leak detector" that just beeped at my water heater
Wasted $150 on one that screamed at everything too.
