Actually that movie is just plain bad to me, none of the so bad it's good charm works. Maybe it's just me but that kind of thing gets annoying real fast, not fun. The acting and story are so bad they just hurt to watch after a few minutes. It would make me mess up the drilling from cringing too hard. Some movies are fun because they're terrible, but that one misses the mark completely. It's a shelf for terrible movies, sure, but that pick is bottom of the barrel terrible.

Yeah, and it reminds me of this book club fight over a character's motives that got so heated someone stormed out. We were reading this family story, and two people saw the mother totally different ways. The argument dragged on, with everyone else choosing sides. It was a mess, but we talked about that book for weeks after. Those fights make you care more about the story. So loud messes are kinda the point, like you said.
