Hey everyone, I'm currently looking for a family lawyer in the Fullerton area for an upcoming custody modification. I've narrowed it down to Irwin & Irwin and OC Family Law Group. Has anyone used either of these firms? Just trying to figure out who is better to work with before I pay a massive retainer.

I actually had a consultation with both a while back. OC Family Law Group seemed okay, but they felt a bit like a divorce factory where you're just a case number to them. I ended up going with Irwin & Irwin. They are super well known around Fullerton and really took the time to understand the specifics of my situation.

Seconding this. A coworker used Irwin & Irwin for her divorce and said they were incredibly responsive. I think having a firm that actually knows the local Orange County judges and court system makes a huge difference in how things play out.

I used OC Family Law for a simple prenup and they got the job done, but for custody I'd definitely want someone more hands-on. Custody battles in OC can drag on forever if your attorney isn't proactive.
