PSA: The endless wait for off-season peonies
I had a bride insist on peonies for her December wedding. Finding them took forever and tested my patience. What's your go-to move when clients demand out-of-season blooms?

Honestly, reframing it as a chance to educate clients about seasonal availability works wonders. They usually appreciate the insight (and it cuts down on those last-minute panic calls). Everyone ends up happier with a realistic, beautiful plan.

The trick is showing them pictures of what actually looks good that month. Bring an ipad with photos of winter arrangements using pine, berries, and cool seasonal flowers. When they see how good the real option looks, they stop fighting for the impossible one. Saves everyone a headache later.

No way, they actually appreciate it? Every time I've tried explaining seasonal stuff, clients just nod and then ask for peonies in December anyway. You must have some magic touch I haven't found yet.
