Watching a crew in Phoenix try to rush a glue-down install in 110-degree heat ruined the product for me.
The adhesive flashed off before they could even roll it, leaving a permanent wave in the LVT that the homeowner spotted immediately... so now I always check the adhesive's working temp and refuse to install if it's over 95, even if the client is pushing for it.

Saw that exact thing happen on a commercial job last summer. The planks started to cup at the seams because the glue set up too fast. Now I keep a laser temp gun in the truck and check the floor surface, not just the air. If it's too hot, we wait for the evening or reschedule, period.

Heard some guys swear by checking the subfloor temp too.
