Tried two different mop heads on my kitchen floor last week and one was a joke

I got one of those spin mops from the grocery store for $12 and it left wet streaks EVERYWHERE. Then my neighbor let me borrow her flat mop with the microfiber pad from Target, and my floors actually dried clear. The spin mop just pushed dirt around while the flat one picked it up. Has anyone else found that certain mop styles just don't work on tile?

Bought a spray mop once that just smeared the dirt into a wet muddy layer.

logan632 that spray mop thing is exactly what I'm talking about, people keep inventing gadgets that make things worse than just doing it the old way. Every time I see some new "miracle cleaning tool" on social media, I just know it's gonna leave a film or streak or something. Remember when everyone was buying those spin mop bucket things and then realized they just push grime into the corners of your baseboards? Same energy as that spray mop you got, all hype and no real results.

Was it the name brand one or a generic one?
