Vent: wasted $600 on a useless business coaching program

I signed up for a business coaching program called 'Scale Fast Academy' based on a Facebook ad, and it was basically just a guy reading slides for 8 weeks. He had zero real advice for my specific industry (mobile car detailing) and just pushed generic 'hustle harder' stuff. Did anyone else get burned by one of these online coaching gurus, or is there a legit one out there you'd actually recommend?

My friend's husband dropped $2k on one of those programs for his pressure washing business. All they gave him was a template for a sales script that didn't even fit what he does.

That's the problem with those cookie-cutter programs. They sell the dream but hand you a generic script that doesn't match your actual business. Better off finding a mentor or real-world advice that's specific to what you do.
