Fellow told me to stop cold-calling and start emailing 3 months ago
I had this older guy at a Phoenix networking breakfast tell me I was wasting my time with cold calls. He said nobody under 40 picks up unknown numbers anymore. I brushed him off but tried his method anyway, sent 50 personalized emails one week. Got 12 replies and 3 actual meetings, way better than my 1 call pickup out of 100 dials. Anyone else get handed advice like this and have it totally shift how you work?
