Used to think Firefly was overhyped till I actually watched it last month

I spent years rolling my eyes at people saying it was the best show ever. Then I binged all 14 episodes in two days and now I'm genuinely mad there's no season 2. The world building was solid and the crew dynamics felt real. Anyone else change their mind about a show they wrote off too quick?

Man, I totally get that! I read this article a while back about how the network basically sabotaged Firefly by airing episodes out of order. It explained why the show felt weird to first-time viewers, like you're missing something. Once you know that, it makes so much sense why people who caught it later fell harder for it. The whole setup with the Alliance and the outer planets felt more real than most scifi shows I've seen. It's like finding out a band you ignored actually had one perfect album that got buried.
