Went to a job site in Phoenix that made me switch from pre-made whips

I was wiring a new warehouse down in Phoenix last month and saw the foreman bend his own conduit. He said he saved $200 on that single run. Pretty sure I'm done buying pre-made whips after seeing how clean his bends looked. Anyone else make that switch?

Did you see him use a hickey bender or the regular hand bender?

depends on what you mean by "saw him" but if its the same job i'm thinking of, i'm pretty sure it was just a regular hand bender. @averywright and i have gone back and forth on this before though. honestly who cares which one he used, the bends looked fine either way. people get way too caught up in the tool vs the result around here.

Those hickey benders can be tricky but the results speak for themselves.
