I finally switched from a standard 3/8-inch drive ratchet to a 1/2-inch drive for stubborn truck lugs, and the difference in leverage was like night and day.

Does anyone else have a simple tool swap that made a frustrating job suddenly easy?

Are truck lugs really that stubborn? My old 3/8 drive has never let me down.

I used to feel the same way as you @wendy_ross71, but my 3/8 drive snapped on a rusted F-250 lug last year. Upgraded to a 1/2 inch and it makes a huge difference for truck work.
