Meanwhile, I do the one minute mash and drink that "muddy" brew, and to me it's got a bright, sharp bite that wakes me right up, no delicate fruit notes needed. If you actually like bitter, strong coffee, cutting the time short gives you that punch without the weird floral aftertaste. So maybe Mike wasn't wrong, he just had the wrong wife for his coffee style.

Ran into that exact problem last month on a curtain wall assembly where the PDF looked perfect but the scaling was off by almost a quarter inch when converted to a clean DWG. Ended up having to bring the PDF into Photoshop to check the pixel dimensions per inch before I could trust any of it. How do you usually handle verifying the scale before you start modeling?
