inThat old lens cleaning trick cost me a mint
Is that something you've actually seen happen @blake_cooper, or more of a worry? I had a friend who used to clean his TV screen with Windex and a paper towel, and after a year you could see these little swirl marks in the coating... It wasn't ruined but it definitely got duller in those spots. I've just always used a dry microfiber cloth ever since that story.

inThat $90 digital angle finder I bought last month was a complete waste
My uncle bought that same angle finder for a siding job in Toledo and had the exact same issue. He dropped it once off a ladder and it never even turned on again. Honestly, I don't get the hype over these things. A speed square has been working fine for decades and costs like 10 bucks. Maybe if you're doing some super precise cabinet work in a clean shop it's worth it, but on a roof with dust and bumps? Overkill for sure.

inSpent 4 hours chasing a no-start on my 2016 Polaris Sportsman
My 2005 Kawasaki Prairie had the exact same trick hidden behind the airbox... I replaced the battery, starter, and solenoid before I found a loose ground bolt. Three weekends gone and $200 in parts for something that cost zero to fix... Makes you want to kick yourself, but hey, at least we know now.

inChatted with a plumber about my water heater and now I'm changing my whole setup
My neighbor saved $15 a month after turning hers down to 120 too.

inSpent a full hour trying to clear a stubborn extraction on a client's chin
Yeah those stubborn ones are the worst!
