Honestly, I was painting my kitchen cabinets for a week before my brother pointed out I was loading the brush wrong. He said 'You're just dipping the tip, you need to get paint halfway up the bristles.' Ngl, it changed everything.

Man that's so true lol. It happens with everything, not just siblings. People love to watch you struggle a bit before they step in. It's like they need to see you try all the wrong ways first. Makes their advice seem smarter, I guess. Drives me nuts but we all do it sometimes.
