Update: Went to my old high school reunion in Akron last weekend
They had a check-in table where you just gave your name. Later, I saw they posted a full photo album online with everyone's full names tagged. No one asked if that was okay. Felt weird, like my name and face are just out there now. How do you handle it when an event shares your info without asking?

That happened at my cousin's wedding in Toledo, felt like a total privacy violation.

But honestly, at a wedding you're kinda in a public, shared space. The couple paid for the whole event, photos included, so they probably just wanted to capture the real reactions of their guests. It's not like they were filming in a bathroom or something.
