My mom asked me to help her delete her search history and it messed me up
I was visiting her last weekend and she pulled me aside, really quiet. She said 'I don't want your dad to see what I've been looking up about his medicine.' She was researching side effects and felt like she had to hide it. I showed her incognito mode, but explaining it just felt gross, like I was teaching her to be sneaky in her own house. Has anyone else had to give their parents privacy tools for stuff that shouldn't even need hiding?

Teaching my dad how to clear his calls felt just as weird, honestly.

Oh man, same thing happened with my mom! She asked me to show her how to delete her texts because she didn't want my stepdad seeing her talking to her sister about his drinking. Felt so wrong helping her cover up something so normal.
