That $200 'portable' espresso machine turned out to be a total scam for coworking life
I dropped $200 on a handheld espresso maker thinking it would be my savior in hostel kitchens and coworking spots. First day in a shared office in Medellin, it leaked hot water all over my laptop while I was on a Zoom call. The thing was supposed to be luggage-friendly but took up half my backpack. Tried twice more with different beans and it still made watery mud. Honestly my $20 Aeropress has outlasted it by a mile and fits in my carry-on. Anyone else wasted cash on a gadget that just added weight to your bag?

Honestly "watery mud" is the perfect way to describe it. Did you try different grind sizes or did the machine just decide it was done working the second you paid for it?

The machine just gave up? That's crazy. I would've been pretty ticked off if I paid for a full cycle and got muddy water back.
