I finally switched from foil highlights to balayage for my clients

After doing foils on 4 different clients last Saturday and having three of them complain about the grow-out lines, I tried a freehand balayage on my sister and the color melted so much better, has anyone else noticed balayage is way easier to maintain for the client?

Balayage is way easier on the grow-out for sure, that natural fade means clients come back way less stressed about roots. Just make sure you really saturate the mids and ends so it doesn't look flat as it fades.

Hold your horses - those grown-out foils look WAY more natural when they grow in than a balayage that just turns into a flat solid blob.
