Client feedback got me to switch from paper to digital punchlists
A GC in Denver told me my handwritten punchlists were slowing down their closeout process. I switched to a free app on my phone last month and it cut my final walkthrough time from 3 hours to under 2. Anyone else made a similar switch and noticed a difference in how subs respond?

the thing nobody's talking about though is how the subs react differently. like when i had paper punchlists, my drywall crew would just nod and say "got it" then do the bare minimum. now with digital they can see photos and exact locations on my phone screen, so they actually push back less because they can't claim they didn't know what i meant lol. one of my electricians even started texting me pics of the fix before i could get back out there, which never happened with paper. it's wild how much the format changes the whole vibe of the conversation.

Ngl I feel like my subs would probably just start sending me memes instead of fix pics, but I guess that's progress too lol
