Had to choose between Kirby Morgan and Ocean Reef for my first helmet setup

Been diving about 3 years now and finally saved enough to buy my own helmet instead of renting. I was stuck between a used Kirby Morgan 37 and a new Ocean Reef Aria G-Diver. The KM37s are tanks, everyone knows them, but finding a used one in good shape for under $2500 was tough. I went with the Ocean Reef after talking to a guy on a pipeline job in Port Fourchon last month. So far I like the lighter weight on my neck, but I'm wondering if the KM is better for cold water work. Has anyone else made this switch and regretted it down the line?

Nothing screams "I love my dentist" like strapping twice the weight to your neck for no reason. Cold water or not, if your neck isn't crying by hour four, you did it wrong. Your mileage may vary, but I'd rather save the chiropractor bills for beer money.
