PSA: I just read that coffee beans can lose about 60% of their aroma within 15 minutes of grinding
Found that stat in an old roaster's guidebook I picked up at a flea market in Seattle. Does anyone else have a specific time window they try to brew within after grinding?

Wow, 15 minutes? My morning routine is basically me grinding beans, then getting distracted by my cat for a half hour. So I'm probably brewing with sad, aroma-free dust. What's the longest you've let grounds sit before realizing your mistake?
