Back when cordless nailers first came out, I thought they were just a gimmick for weekend warriors.

I stuck with my pneumatic guns for years, figuring the battery ones would be weak and die fast. Then about two years ago, I had a job doing a bunch of finish work in a house with no compressor hookup. I borrowed a buddy's Milwaukee 18-gauge brad nailer to try it. That thing drove 2-inch brads into oak trim without a hiccup and the battery lasted the whole day. Now I use one for most trim jobs. Anyone else have a tool they were wrong about?

Got me on the first job. The battery dies right when you're in a rhythm. Total game changer when they finally lasted.
