Auto-pay timing almost ruined my monthly money plan

I thought setting up auto-pay for my credit card would help me stay on track. But the payment went through late last month due to how my bank handles transactions. I ended up with a surprise late fee and interest charges. That fee took money I had set aside for other things. Now I make sure to verify the due date manually before it hits. It only takes a minute but saves me from headaches. Has this happened to you? Don't let a small timing issue throw off your whole month. Always double-check those auto-pay dates to keep your cash safe.

Call them, they often waive that first late fee.

Have you gotten that to work yourself, @taylorr27?

I mean, I've heard that calling about late fees can actually work. I read a thing online that said they often waive the first one if you just ask. Idk, maybe it's worth a try if you're in that spot.
