A brick delivery in Cleveland went sideways and cost us half a day

Last Thursday our supplier sent the wrong color blend for a big house job on Euclid Avenue. We had to stop work, call them, and wait for the right pallets to show up around 2 PM. Has anyone else had a supplier mix-up throw off a whole project schedule?

Been there. A wrong window shipment last month cost us a full day of labor waiting on the swap. It's the worst kind of delay.

My buddy's crew had a whole kitchen cabinet order show up in the wrong finish last spring. They had already prepped the space and everything. The replacement took over a week to arrive, so they were totally stuck. It completely threw off their schedule for three other jobs. Just a total mess that wasn't even their fault. Those supply chain mistakes are brutal.
