Warning: My neighbor's cactus flower bloom sparked a mini traffic jam
So, Mrs. Jenkins down the street has this giant cactus she's been growing for like a decade, right? Last Tuesday night, it finally popped out these huge pink flowers that smelled kinda sweet. She posted about it online, and word spread fast in our local plant group. By morning, cars were slowly rolling past her house, people leaning out windows to take pictures. It got so bad that cars stacked up at the stop sign, and the garbage truck got stuck trying to turn. I was out watering my ferns and ended up waving folks along so the mail could get delivered. Mrs. Jenkins just stood there grinning, offering seed pods to anyone who stopped. Whole thing felt like a weird parade for a plant, but it was pretty funny to watch.

Honestly, a mini traffic jam from a cactus flower? Come on. That's got to be an exaggeration. Cars roll by slow all the time for various reasons. A garbage truck getting stuck sounds like bad driving, not the flower's fault. It's a cool event for the neighborhood, but let's not act like it's a major incident. People need to chill out about these things.

Ugh, people will complain about literally anything now.

On my block, we get backed up DAILY from delivery trucks, so a flower slowdown is NOTHING.
