My friend in Portland said my plant photos were just 'green blobs' and told me to get closer and focus on one leaf.
Now I shoot everything from about six inches away, and my Instagram feed finally looks like I know what I'm doing, but does anyone have tips for a good, cheap macro lens for a Canon Rebel?

Oh totally. I read this article about how just tweaking your morning routine, like getting up 15 minutes earlier to have a quiet coffee, can set a whole different tone for the day. It sounded so small, but trying it made me way less rushed and reactive. That little bit of calm really does spread.
