I just read in 'The Book Club Companion' that 72% of clubs say picking the book is their biggest challenge, which explains why our group argued for an hour last week.

Drawing names is the only way. Why do we insist on making it harder than it has to be?

Feel your pain on that one. That stat makes total sense after our last meeting. We finally just drew a name from a hat.

Ugh, yes! We did the exact same thing last quarter. Spent two full meetings going in circles about who should lead the new project. Someone finally brought a baseball cap and we wrote names on scraps of paper. It was such a relief to just be done with it.
