My partner and I argued for an hour over what to watch next

We finished a long series and hit total decision paralysis. I wanted a new sci-fi show, she wanted a true crime doc. We spent over 60 minutes scrolling through Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max, reading summaries and watching trailers. It was exhausting. Actually, @finley_wells66, it's more than just feeling like a crime show. The whole thing is built on a crime, the missing kids. It just uses that to get into the bigger time travel mess. The police work is the entry point, not the whole point.

Yeah, the way it feels like a crime show is so spot on. I mean, you get that same slow burn of following clues and questioning suspects, but the suspects are from different time periods. The missing kid case in season one had me taking notes like I was some detective trying to figure out the family trees and all the connections. It's less about chasing aliens and more about unraveling this huge, messed up puzzle.
