Hot take: barber school didn't teach me half of what I learned on the job

I graduated from Apex Barber College in Tulsa back in 2019, and last week I realized I've unlearned most of what they drilled into me. They pushed straight razor shaves hard, but in three years I've done maybe five of those, while fading techniques changed twice already. What's something you picked up working that school never covered?

Man I gotta disagree a bit here. School gave me the foundation that let me actually learn the real stuff on the job without messing up too bad.
