My chocolate cake in Phoenix last night turned into a volcano when I forgot the baking powder.

I had to serve it as a 'deconstructed lava cake' with extra ice cream, but has anyone else saved a dessert disaster by just renaming it?

Oh man, my whole cooking style is just giving fancy names to my mistakes. My rock-hard cookies become "artisan biscotti" and my separated cheese sauce turns into a "three-cheese fondue drizzle." It works way more often than it should.
