Our email nurture sequence broke and we lost 3 weeks of leads
Last month our marketing automation tool glitched and stopped sending follow-up emails to anyone who downloaded our whitepaper. We didn't catch it for 3 weeks because nobody thought to check the send logs. Ended up losing around 200 qualified leads from a trade show in Austin. Has anyone else dealt with a silent automation failure like this?

Yeah, absolutely. We had a similar thing happen with our email drip campaign last year. It just stopped sending for two full weeks and nobody noticed because the landing pages were still getting traffic. That feeling when you finally check the logs and realize how many people just fell through the cracks is the worst.

That reminds me of when my sister's bakery had their online ordering system crash during the holiday cookie season. People kept placing orders but the system wasn't sending confirmations or notifications to the kitchen. They had like 60 people show up for pickup on the same day with no cookies ready. It was a total mess with angry customers and sad kids. Took them a week to sort it all out and remake everything.
