I redesigned my company's whole landing page based on one 10-second video of a prospect scrolling
Last month I was sitting in a co-working space in Austin and this guy next to me was looking at b2b software options on his phone. I watched him (sneakily) as he scrolled past 5 landing pages in under 10 seconds each. He didn't read a single headline. He just looked at the top left corner, the main image, and moved on. So I went back to my office that night and cut all our intro paragraphs from 3 sentences to 6 words. Moved our demo CTA above the fold. Within a week our conversion rate went from 1.2% to 3.8%. Has anyone else noticed that decision makers in b2b are basically skimming like they're on TikTok now?

That 10-second test is brutal dude. You nailed it with the fix.

The timing window on that test is only like 2 frames right? Did you have to adjust your scroll lock timing or was it more about the actual trigger point for the ledge grab? Just curious what part exactly was tripping you up before you saw the fix.

Watched myself FAIL that test like 10 times before @matthewsullivan posted the fix.
