inI finally took that cashier's advice about bagging produce
Funny you mention that, @dianagreen, because I actually saw something online the other day about bananas ripening from the top down or something. Maybe it's just a myth, idk. But hey, if it works for you, that's all that matters.

inThat $50 steam cleaner I bought off Amazon actually saved my bristle brushes
Whoa, steaming could warp the synthetic bristles too if they're not natural hair.

inMy neighbor showed me I've been loading the dishwasher wrong for 7 years
Doubt it matters that much, @joseph_murray8 probably overreacted too.

inTried dry-aging a ribeye in my home fridge for 21 days - totally worth the wait
Right, I did basically the same thing with a ribeye last winter and it turned out amazing. I wrapped mine in cheesecloth and set it on a wire rack over a baking sheet (caught all the drips) and left it in the back of the fridge for five days. That deep funky smell you mentioned is exactly what I got too, and the sear was so much better than anything from the store.

inTIL I've been bleeding brakes the wrong way for 8 years
Wait, what exactly were you doing that let air back in? Like were you cracking the bleeder open, pumping the pedal, and then closing it after the pedal was already down? Because that's what I used to do for years too lol. I thought I was being careful but apparently closing the bleeder while the pedal was still pressed down creates a vacuum that sucks air right past the threads. Realized the trick is to close the bleeder BEFORE you let the pedal come back up, or better yet get a one-way valve setup that seals properly. The cheap autozone kits are definitely trash though, I had one that leaked at the hose connection immediately.
