Was dead-set against using a thermal camera on harnesses until I found a cracked pin in an LRU connector at MCO last Friday

Took me maybe 10 minutes to spot what would've been a whole afternoon of chasing a ghost fault, has anyone else had one of those tools they swore off until it saved them?

Used to think thermal cameras were overkill until I borrowed one from a buddy and found a hot spot on a breaker panel that looked fine to the eye. That changed my mind real fast. Now I keep one in my bag for those times when you just KNOW something's wrong but can't see it. It's one of those tools you DON'T want to need but when you do, it pays for itself in an afternoon.

Yeah @lee627, I was the same way till I borrowed one and caught a bad connection before it caused a fire.
