Spent $150 on a fancy pin puller tool that I never use

Bought one of those high-end pin puller kits for D-sub connectors thinking it would save me hours. Turns out my old dental pick and a steady hand work just as fast. Anyone else got a tool they regret buying for the bench?

My buddy Tom bought one of those fancy crimp tool kits for like $300. He spent a whole Saturday trying to figure out how to use the ratcheting thing, ended up crushing three connectors and snapping a pin off. Next day he just used his old teeth and a pair of pliers, got it done in ten minutes flat. That kit has been sitting in his trunk under a layer of fast food wrappers ever since. He still gets mad if I bring it up.
