I finally broke down and ordered one of those adjustable hoof stands from a catalog last month. First few jobs I used it on draft crosses and it saved my lower back big time - no more bending over for 20 minutes straight. But yesterday I had a spooky gelding who wouldn't stand still with it, so I ended up back on the ground anyway. Has anyone else found these things work great for some horses but not others?

Jesse screaming in the car, Skyler's empty face, that house with the graffiti. The guy didn't win anything, he just burned everything down and called it a victory. I was stuck in a rut last year so I paid some online service $200 to rewrite my resume. They made it all fancy with buzzwords and a slick format but it was complete garbage for my field. After 3 months of silence I showed it to a buddy in HR and he laughed, said it screamed "written by someone who never did the job." My $700 laser level took a 3 foot drop and now it's junk

I bought a nice rotary laser level for a basement remodel last spring. Was setting it up on a tripod and the clamp slipped. Fell maybe 3 feet onto carpet and now the beam is out of calibration by about 1/8 inch over 30 feet. Took it to the repair shop and they said the calibration fix costs more than a new unit. Has anyone found a way to get these things realigned without paying half the retail price?
