Hit 1,000 brake jobs last month and it felt weird

I was just doing the books last month and counted up my brake jobs. Somehow I hit 1,000 since I started at my shop in Denver back in 2014. That number surprised me because I never keep track, I just do the work. Most of them were on F-150s and Suburbans, probably 80% pads and rotors. It made me think about how many rusty calipers I've wrestled with over the years. Has anyone else ever counted up a specific repair they've done a ton of?

You ever count up how many oil filters youve ripped off and just felt old all of a sudden? lol I did the same thing with brakes a while back, mostly on old Rams and lifted trucks, and the number was way too close to 1,000 too. Its wild how you never notice the grind until you see it on paper, then your back hurts just remembering all those seized slide pins.

Three hundred and eleven oil changes on the same old F-150 before I finally wrote it down on a napkin... felt like I'd aged ten years in ten seconds. Still, I figure it beats the guy who keeps a log of every tire rotation he's ever done, that's a whole different level of weird.
