Shoutout to the 3M rep who suggested trying their new fine line tape on a tricky curve

I was working on a 2017 Mustang rear quarter panel with a really tight curve near the tail light. The old tape kept lifting and I was about to re-mask the whole thing. The rep said to try the new stuff, so I gave it a shot. It laid down perfect on the first try with no lift at all, even around that sharp bend. What's your go-to tape for tough curves like that?

Honestly saw a video last week where a guy was doing a custom motorcycle tank with wild curves. He swore by that fine line tape too, said it saved him a ton of time on rework. Tbh I usually just fight with the cheap stuff and end up trimming it with a blade, which is a pain. Might have to actually pick up a roll of the good stuff next time.

Saw a forum post where a guy said the same thing. That cheap tape just bleeds and ruins the line every time.
