Rant: I had the best Tuesday ever last week after 3 bad ones in a row

Last Tuesday my car started on the first try, my boss gave me a $50 gift card for covering a shift, and my dog actually came when I called him. Then my sister called to say she got into nursing school in Austin, which was the real highlight. So what tiny thing turned your worst week around lately?

Funny how one good day can erase a whole pile of bad ones. Your dog coming when called might be the real miracle there, mine acts like I'm speaking ancient Greek. I had something like that happen a couple weeks back, my sister sent me a random text with a photo of her new puppy and it came right when I was stuck in traffic hating everything. Nothing huge but it snapped the bad mood right out of me. Then the next morning my coffee maker actually worked on the first try, which never happens. Small stuff adds up I guess. Does your sister being in Austin mean you'll be making some road trips down there now?
