Ran into a cosplayer at the grocery store who was still in full armor

Last weekend I was grabbing milk at the Wegmans by my house and saw this guy in full metal cosplay armor just casually pushing a cart. I mean he had on the whole thing, even the helmet, and he was trying to grab a bag of frozen peas. The store manager came over and asked if he was okay and he just said "I'm between conventions, don't worry about it." Has anyone else had a random run-in with someone who clearly just didn't want to change out of their costume?

People need to lighten up. The guy is just living his life, he's not hurting anyone. If I had spent that much time and money on a suit of armor I'd want to get some use out of it too... plus frozen peas aren't gonna grab themselves. Grocery stores are full of people in weird pajamas and yoga pants these days anyway, at least he put some effort in. Manager was probably just jealous he didn't have a cool helmet.

Yeah I saw a video about that, guy had a whole suit of armor.
