Thought air fried veggies would be a waste of time, tried broccoli last week and I get it now

Kept seeing people post about air fryer veggies and figured they'd just come out dry and sad. Threw some broccoli in there with oil and salt at 375 for 8 minutes, shook it halfway. Came out crispy on the edges and still tender inside. Way better than the microwave or even the oven. Has anyone else found a vegetable that totally surprised them in the air fryer?

Tbh I was exactly the same way, thought it was just a gimmick but brussels sprouts with a little balsamic glaze changed my mind completely.

Oh man, the balsamic glaze is the real deal. I started tossing mine with a bit of maple syrup and red pepper flakes before roasting and its a whole different ballgame. The sweet and spicy combo makes the caramelized edges even better. Now I legit crave them, never thought Id say that about a vegetable.

Oh my goodness, yes! That balsamic glaze really is a game changer. I used to hate brussels sprouts so much as a kid, I would hide them in my napkin at the dinner table. It wasn't until a friend roasted them with olive oil and salt that I gave them another shot. Now I actually look forward to them, especially when they get a little crispy on the edges. I toss them with some toasted walnuts and dried cranberries too, really brings out the flavor. Now I make them for every holiday meal and people actually ask for the recipe.
