My sister's air fryer chicken came out dry and she blamed the recipe

My sister followed a popular TikTok air fryer chicken breast recipe to the letter last Sunday, 20 minutes at 375 degrees, and it came out like shoe leather. She said it was the recipe's fault, but I think her air fryer runs hot because mine does the same thing. Has anyone else had to adjust cooking times for a specific brand or model of air fryer?
