I just found out my air fryer chicken has been wrong for two years
My friend came over for dinner and said my chicken was 'kind of wet,' which made me realize I was crowding the basket with 4 big breasts at once. I switched to doing just 2 at a time and the skin got super crispy. Do you guys ever cook less food at once for better results?

Super crispy skin" sounds good, but I'd rather get dinner done in one batch... even if it's a little soft.

...and that's exactly why I'm asking, because I feel like a lot of people settle for "good enough" when cooking. You say you'd rather have it faster, but is the extra 10 minutes really that big of a deal compared to a noticeably better meal? I mean, we're talking about the difference between "wet" chicken and something that's actually crispy and enjoyable. It isn't like you're waiting an hour, it's one extra batch. What is it about that short wait that feels like such a hassle?

Honestly, is slightly soft chicken skin that big of a deal? It's still cooked through and safe to eat. I'd take a faster dinner over waiting for a second batch any night.
