Ran an AI music generator on my old laptop and it nearly melted down

I tried using that new Suno AI music tool on my 2018 Dell with 8GB RAM to make a backing track for my band's demo. The fan sounded like a jet engine and it took 45 minutes just to generate a 30 second clip that sounded like a broken radio. Has anyone found a lightweight AI music tool that doesn't require a gaming PC to run?

idk it's weird how everything these days expects you to have some beast of a machine just to run basic stuff. my friend wanted to try that new AI image generator thing and his laptop from 2019 literally blue screened. i swear it's like companies forget some of us aren't out here building custom rigs for our hobbies. maybe it's just me but i feel like software should adapt to what people actually have, not the other way around.

Hear me out though, isn't it kind of the same as expecting a 2019 phone to run the latest 3D game? Software pushes hardware forward, that's just how it works. You can't blame companies for making new stuff that needs more power, can you?
