Switched from a 6-inch to an 8-inch cutterhead on the old dredge

I was convinced the smaller head was better for the tight spots in the river bend near Sedona. After chewing through three sets of teeth in a month and barely moving 50 cubic yards a day, the boss made me try the bigger one. We're now clearing over 80 yards daily and the wear is way less. Anyone else had a similar experience with cutterhead size?

Pro tip: I thought those new self-leveling laser markers were just a gimmick until I had to lay out a 12,000 sq ft warehouse floor in Phoenix last month.

We were a full day ahead of schedule because the crew wasn't constantly checking strings and levels, so has anyone else made the switch and seen that kind of time save?

Saw a cashier in Mesa handle a price check in about 10 seconds flat

She just tapped a button on her screen and told the customer the exact price, no waiting for a manager. Has anyone else seen a store that actually has their systems set up that well?
