Well, that explains why I've been having a one-sided staring contest with elevator doors for thirty years. I guess it's just there to give us a false sense of control, like the thermostat in my office. Next you'll tell me the crosswalk buttons are fake too, and my whole life is a lie.

Old paper manuals are a liability waiting to happen. Pages get lost or damaged, and the information is often outdated. Digital systems are faster and more reliable for everyone.

Man, that reminds me of the time I tried to sand a popcorn ceiling without a proper setup. I looked like a ghost for three days, and my wife banned me from the house until I hosed off in the yard. That fine dust gets in everything, even with windows open. I learned my lesson the hard way.
