inTIL: Bird calls turned my neighborhood strolls into a game
I always figured bird watching was for retired folks with binoculars... never gave the sounds much thought. Tried one of those apps on a lark last month and it totally flipped that idea. Hearing a robin's song and actually knowing it's a robin makes the whole yard feel different. It sort of forces you to slow down and pay attention... walks feel less like a chore now.

inAm I the only one who developed a rash from handling certain minerals?
Yeah mine said it's basically a reaction to the sulfur dust when it gets wet. I had to switch to nitrile gloves because the powder still got through the cheap ones I was using. What helped me was washing right after handling and using this plain zinc oxide cream at night.

inRoad work cheers turned my sluggish jog into a sprint
Absolutely! That kind of unexpected boost is the best. I had a similar thing happen last fall with a road crew. A couple of guys waved and gave a friendly honk with their truck horn as I was really dragging up a hill. It totally flipped my mood. I got this silly grin and found a whole new gear for the rest of my run. It is amazing how a little human connection can change your whole workout.

inHeads up: Lisbon cafes are too crowded for work now. It wasn't like this five years ago.
Remember thinking it was just me being picky lol. Tried working from a spot in Principe Real last Tuesday and literally every table was taken by 10am. The noise level alone makes it impossible to focus now, which sucks because I used to get so much done there.
